I was clueless until my then 11 year old daughter (now 13) started one without my knowledge (nothing bad on it...but still!) - she was chatting with my friend's kid and was telling her about it....My friend told me...it was cute and mostly harmless (altho' it did include her picture and age!) no more myspace or facebook or any other kind of "public" presence allowed at this point! High school looming so I imagine that we will have to negotiate next steps in the virtual world! We did have a very serious discussion thereafter about the pros and cons of this type of public sharing!
