Yep....she LITERALLY wrote the book on homeschooling.....And since I have no children or homeschooling experience (other than getting my BS online), then I have no value to add to this thread... But I could ask for an autographed book Tongue

LOL - I spell like crap and I attended public school. Come to think of it, I've got somewhere around 250 college credits and still spell like crap.

Please don't say that. My opinion is just that, an opinion. Yours is VERY relevant! If there was ONE BEST CURRICULUM everyone would use it, including the schools. Fact is there are a zillion, so sharing is the only way to help get through the jungle of options. I value the opinion and experience of everyone here, that's how I learn, that's how we all learn.

Most definately =) Just to side track a little, authoring a book is quite an accomplishment. I'm sure it consisted a lot of hard work, sacrificed a lot of your time, and some capital I would think. But in the end the business side of me is asking was this profitable for you? I think in this day and age it's probably a lot harder to make money in written print because somehow people seem to read a lot for free whether it's online or just going to your local Barnes & Nobles and squatting down on the carpet and reading a book for hours. Some are even reading the books while enjoying a latte at the Starbucks inside the bookstore. Now I only limit myself to an hour with my daughter at the bookstore and I usually end up buying some books but I noticed that there are more "free readers" at the bookstore than there are buyers at the cashier's line purchasing books. Is it unscrupulous? I think so but it seems to becoming more of the norm. Also any other books in the works? If you do may I suggest a few pen names such as Homeschool Momma or Homie Don't Play That. Also maybe for a title you can use "Too Cool For Homeschool" or "Homeboys Need To Be Homeschooled?" I trust you're smart enough to ignore my suggestions.
