Passed Macro! now time for Micro - seanmathews - 01-21-2013 I'll admit when I first read through the REA books, I am pretty lost, but I think it's the combination of rea, IC, YouTube lecture and it khan academy that make the difference. Picking just one is only going to get you so far. I read through the REA book and then did IC cards and you tube lectures simultaneously, and that's when it all started making sense. As weird as it may sound, the REA book helps by getting me into an "economic" state of mind by reading the passages, using the lingo, and get a taste of the concepts. For whatever test I took, if there was an REA book available. I got it. And I haven't failed on yet. (Knocks on wood). Passed Macro! now time for Micro - Can219 - 01-21-2013 Sean, I just completed the Intro to Statistics Class with ALEKS. It's really great because you go at your own pace. You can print out examples. And if you get stuck try google, you tube or Khan Academy....I hate math and never had any statistics....I finished this in 10 days! For me that is good Good Luck... Passed Macro! now time for Micro - seanmathews - 01-25-2013 Just passed MICRO with a 58! Got about a little less than a weeks worth of studying in. Both Macro & Micro are done! Such a relief! Passed Macro! now time for Micro - starlinghunter - 01-25-2013 Nice! Macro to Micro is the way to go! I enjoyed both those tests, used REA, another economics book, YouTube, and LearningNetwork (from CollegePlus!, similar to IC). |
