Why doesn't TESC state your major on your diploma like every other college out there? - CollegeStudent7 - 04-17-2011 OE800_85 Wrote:i think if you're really desperate you could just photoshop the major in, and have it reprinted somehow...i mean, you've earned it, right LOL! So true!! Well bric made a great post on the other thread. If I am majoring in BSBA apparently it will be on there anyway. But if I went for Natural Sciences and Mathematics, it would just state the B.A. on the diploma. Again, I realize a transcript shows otherwise, but I'm being vain and I will feel VERY proud to have completed my Bachelors and would like to put it in a nice frame in my bedroom or something. Maybe it's cheesy, but at least I am being honest. I earned it, so I want it on the darned diploma haha. hilarious Why doesn't TESC state your major on your diploma like every other college out there? - cookderosa - 04-17-2011 11111111111 Why doesn't TESC state your major on your diploma like every other college out there? - Lindagerr - 04-17-2011 Do a google image search for college diplomas you will see it is probably about 50/50 naming majors. Many do not put them on the degree including NYU and Rutgers Why doesn't TESC state your major on your diploma like every other college out there? - CollegeStudent7 - 04-17-2011 Lindagerr Wrote:Do a google image search for college diplomas you will see it is probably about 50/50 naming majors. I live in NYC and know tons of people that went there/graduated from there. Maybe it depends? Anyway, pretty interesting. I won't die either way and I actually found the photoshop suggestion amusing. I may just use it for my own self gratitude lol! ![]() Why doesn't TESC state your major on your diploma like every other college out there? - jackzack87 - 04-18-2011 My newly minted degree from TESC says ; hereby admits (Me) to the degree of Bachelors of science in organizational leadership with all the rights, privileges, etc, etc... I think both the CIS and Accounting areas of concentration that I'm working on are much more difficult than a general business administration degree. So I would want recognition of that on the diploma. Ultimately I'm not going to lose sleep over it, though. To me the bachelor degree is just a means to end, not the end itself. You have a point. Why doesn't TESC state your major on your diploma like every other college out there? - FinancialWorld - 04-18-2011 Man you sure do post a lot. I've been on here since mid 2009 and only have about 200 posts. I guess some people really like to write. Anyway....I'm getting a BSBA in Finance from TESC. My brother got a BSBA in Management from TESC. Both degrees will just say BSBA. From what I hear, that's pretty common. I would never change schools just to add a few words to my diploma. :roflol: Why doesn't TESC state your major on your diploma like every other college out there? - CollegeStudent7 - 04-18-2011 Posting is what forums are for! lol I'm happy with BSBA on my diploma. |
