Why not do college algebra as well? You get more college credit and more experience. I took trig and analytic geometry in eleventh grade and also math analysis. These two math classes over prepared me for calculus as a senior. I then took calc I again in college just to have a firm grasp on it even though I got ap credit. I still got a c in calc two with all that preparation.
Math gets hard really fast so repetition can't hurt.

because he's not doing highschool math, he's "in" high school. He's hoping to be finished with his college math before college lol.
