I posted this in its own thread a while back. Some mod decided to move it into an old post so everyone ignored it. Attached are pass rates for both MILITARY and CIVILIAN test takers. The civilian rates are from college campuses.
Feel free to compare. As you can see military testers do outperform civilians in some tests.

I was told when I passed American Govt that it had the lowest pass rate of all the cleps so that makes sense.

No, it means that of the people who took the Biology exam, only 33% passed. As I've said in another thread, don't let that worry you too much. Military members tend to take these things with very little to no study since it doesn't cost them anything. That's where you get numbers like that 33%.
If you look at the one that blu2blue posted of both base and campus exams, it shows a pass rate of 50% for Biology. Still not great, but you have to realize that most people don't know about all the great resources you've already used to study with.
Provided you don't freak yourself out too much and have honestly prepared for the exam, you'll do fine.

blu2blu, Those are not civilian test scores, but rather test scores from military taken at civilian centers. While Military testers can take exams at civilians sites, they usually have to pay an admin fee even though the actual cost is waived. The actual overall DSST and CLEP pass rates are considered proprietary and are unlikely to be released.

Those were my thoughts about releasing civilian pass rates as well. I am only relaying what I was told.
