That's great! I'm glad that they're easier to deal with than TESU. With TESU, it sometimes feels like you have to "trick" them into letting you get a degree.

I understand there's no teacher certification or hands on experience .   Would these classes be needed as prerequisites for a Masters in teaching or education?  I am still pondering bachelor degrees options and the more information the better!    

I'm in the BLS but I have not done the educational studies minor. Yes, all UMPI degrees require UL courses. I can't tell you have many are required, because each degree is different. That's a question for admissions. 

I only transferred in a few Sophia courses. Course length varies drastically. Each course is different. Some have a lot of content and some don't. Just like Sophia's courses. Some have very long and time consuming Final Assessments and some don't. It also depends on your level of interest in the topic. 

Teaching is a state by state thing. Every state has different requirements. You will need to research what your state requires.

I have completed the course content in a few classes in 3 days, but that doesn't finish the course. There's the Final Assessment which is usually a paper or project. I can't see how anyone could finish an entire course in just 3 days unless they didn't sleep and worked on the class all day and night. Some of these courses I was familiar with the topic and other courses I wasn't. We also have to keep in mind our grades! Our ENTIRE grade is based on the Final Assessment. Anything below an 80 is a failure. So you can't just write a crappy paper and expect to pass.
