I have both chrome and Firefox on my MacBook and have taken the exam with both browsers. Every so often chrome will give me problems with something. So I keep Firefox as an alternative. Hope this helps.

Has anyone here had any experience with the ASU introductory programming course or the computer applications course? Also, what classes is everyone signed up for this upcoming fall term? If anyone is interested in those 2 courses this fall term let me know if you want to form a study group.

Completed so far:
SOC101 Sociology
ASM246 Human Origins
EXW100 Health & Wellness
HST102 Western Civilization I
COM100 Communications

In progress:
ENG101 English Composition I self-paced
MAT117 College Algebra self-paced

Looking to do: basically everything else. My goal is to end up with at least 60 graded RA credits on my bachelors transcript, of which ASU EA will mostly fulfill. I know I won't get everything done while the ASU discount is still in effect, but hopefully I'll just have a few things left at the full rate.
There's a few random classes that I don't think will transfer or fit in to my degree plan at TESU, so I probably won't do them: CEE181, FSE150, PAF112

Completed:
AST111 Astronomy
ASM246 Human Origins
EXW100 Introduction to Health and Welness
HST102 Western Civilization

In progress/planned:
MAT170 Precalculus - self paced
MAT210 Brief Calculus - self paced
CIS105 Computer Applications and Information Technology - don't actually need this one, since Intro to IT from Sophia comes in as the same
CHM114 General Chemistry for Engineers
CSE110 Programming for Everyone: Introduction to Programming

I'd definitely be interested in some sort of study group for intro to programming. I'm not looking foward to learning Java.

It is English Composition I just writing and send assignments??

Here's the grade breakdown:
Writer's Journals: 10% (20 total informal essays, ~500 words each)
Participation Assignments: 5% (I think this is just participating in peer review?)
Projects: 30% (Five papers of about 1000 words each, plus a portfolio)
Content mastery: 15% (Cerego flashcards)
Quizzes: 40% (there's no exams, nothing is proctored)

There's a decent amount of writing, at least 15K words. If you're already a competent writer, you could theoretically bang out everything in the self paced course over a few weeks. I see several people doing that right now, and I'm also trying to get through it before the next term starts on the 18th. Problem is, many of the assignment prompts are the type of open-ended ambiguous things that can bog me down for days.

I'm planning on taking English Composition: Research and Writing to fulfill COSC's English Composition 2 gen ed requirement as well as Introduction to Solar Systems Astronomy to fulfill the lab requirement. I am thinking of taking two more courses because of COSC's 90 credit limit for non-regionally accredited credits.

Which two other courses would you recommend based on how easy they are? I have included completed classes in my signature below. Thanks! Big Grin

You can think about it for a short period of time. Normally, you get a year to think about it. In order to get the $99 price, I think they expect you to pay for it by the end of 2020.
