a little WGU MBA review.... - rebel100 - 12-18-2013 Task 3 returned for revision with this note: "This is an outstanding start to this comprehensive strategic plan, as many of the requirements are met. three of the aspects need a little more content and/or detail in order to meet competency standards. These include B5, B5a, and C4. Detailed comments are provided in the evaluation rubric to assist with the completion of this assessment." So I knocked the three items out at lunch and re-submitted. We will see.... a little WGU MBA review.... - rebel100 - 12-18-2013 Strategic is done, revisions evaluated and course is finished.....lightning fast evaluation, like 4 hours! a little WGU MBA review.... - rebel100 - 12-26-2013 Capstone Simulation is passed, that took awhile and my hat is off to the Uof P team mate, she has been simply outstanding! Goes to show you that a great student can overcome a miserably bad college IMO. I have also completed the 5-6 page Capstone Task 1. It was essentially a recap/reflection on how the simulation went. It asked questions about your individual performance (after viewing a peer review) and about how you felt the team did overall. You also had to explain how the simulation relates to your professional work. Pretty straightforward, we will see if I pass on the first go around! Once this one is approved I have a team presentation and a problem statement to write up and this degree will be in the books (or on the wall ![]() The presentation will be in the form of a slideshow and we have to work together on it. Fortunately the whole team is working pretty hard to finish before the end of January. I have received approval on my problem statement. i will be working up a plan to get nurses and other hospital staff to voice and act properly in the event of a fire alarm (or real fire). You essentially had to pick any real problem and submit it for approval. I'm fortunate that they approved something I have to fix at work anyways. ![]() a little WGU MBA review.... - sanantone - 12-26-2013 rebel100 Wrote:Capstone Simulation is passed, that took awhile and my hat is off to the Uof P team mate, she has been simply outstanding! I can't breathe! a little WGU MBA review.... - rebel100 - 12-30-2013 Capstone Task 1 kicked back....they clain to need "2" examples for several rubric sections....they should have specified that!!!! It was revised and resubmitted Saturday...awaiting feedback. a little WGU MBA review.... - rebel100 - 12-31-2013 Task 1 complete! a little WGU MBA review.... - rebel100 - 01-31-2014 Ok, the holidays sort of killed our momentum, but the team has finally finished Task 2 of the Capstone...it was submitted and came back for revision. We revised and re-submitted yesterday...two of my teammates have received their "pass" so I expect to hear any minute that Task 2 is complete. This thing has been a doozy! Its 36 power point slides long with copious presenter notes...it really is a really big project in which we take apart our own mock performance in an online simulation. It was really only made bearable by the fact that it was a team effort and all the work didn't fall to one person. I will be glad when this is officially behind me! Only one Task left and I will be an MBA. Graduation is next weekend, I'm all signed up to walk. I hope to have Capstone Task 3 completed and passed so the ceremony will truly mark the end of this endeavor. a little WGU MBA review.... - rebel100 - 01-31-2014 Task 2 officially done! a little WGU MBA review.... - LaterBloomer - 02-01-2014 Good luck with Capstone 3! Your progress has been inspirational. a little WGU MBA review.... - rebel100 - 02-09-2014 Ok, inspired by graduation and with my 3rd term in its last 19 days I spent the afternoon finishing Task t3 of Capstone, it is submitted. I posted reference graduation here: http://www.degreeforum.net/off-topic/21200-western-governors-commencement-ceremonies.html I will let you know how it goes...so freaking close! I expect revisions , but the thought that this thing could soon be over has me pretty happy! |
