I thought they updated it to 'up to 7' TECEPs... I'll have to follow up with someone tomorrow as they're closed. I guess the system won't allow 15+ credits, I did 16 last time but removed the 1 credit and another I was emailed that wasn't part of my 'plans'. Received email that I am good to go for all 7 TECEPs! Wow, that's 21 RA credits right there... And again for those who haven't taken TECEPs before, these are either CR/NC depending if you pass or fail. It will not affect your GPA and will add a year to your enrollment! RE: Free TECEP® Exams Available Now (?) - GameSlinger - 09-12-2023 I just received an email in response to me trying to add the last 2 TECEPs to my list. It stated that the funding has now been fully used up so no more TECEPs can be added at this time. RE: Free TECEP® Exams Available Now (?) - bjcheung77 - 09-12-2023 Oh well, it was great while it lasted... Congrats to those who got any TECEPs for free! I got all 7, just right before funds ended... I signed up my family members to tech the network tech just in case they want to do a CS degree down the road. I already have a study deck so it should be doable for them. I'm just happy, it saved me quite a bit of money. Things like this are a great blessing for sure. Future or prospective students may benefit from it... in addition to using what's currently available on the WIKI or mentioned on the forum... RE: Free TECEP® Exams Available Now (?) - LevelUP - 09-18-2023 Here's some possible low-hanging fruit for some people. TECEP Managerial Communication has 1 essay that is worth a whopping 40 points!!! That means, in theory, if you score 100% on the essay, you could score 50% on the multiple-choice questions and still pass. Business in Society has the same scoring system except for 5 essays instead of 1 and only a 60% overall passing score. If you can find a Quizlet, you have a shot of passing these TECEPs with a 2-10hr minimum amount of studying. Pass or fail, post your scores on this thread. RE: Free TECEP® Exams Available Now (?) - Pats20 - 09-21-2023 Nice while it lasted. Hi, I'm new here and have been reading through this and other forums for help. What are 'RA credits' that you mention here? Would that be credits that count like you took the class at TESU? I am just starting out finishing my degree. I transferred 78 credits in and have 42 left to go. I am registered for the 5 free TECEP exams to start and am trying to figure out where the rest of my credits will come from. RA credits are credits that come from an actual college or university. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Accreditation Other terms and terminology here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:Terminology If your 78 credits are entirely (or mostly) from another college or university, this isn't something you need to worry about at all. For the rest of your classes, it'll depend on your degree. But you can get recommendations for various degrees here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sample_TESU_General_Education_Requirements_Roadmap RE: Free TECEP® Exams Available Now (?) - drp16 - 09-26-2023 (09-26-2023, 07:46 AM)rachel83az Wrote:(09-26-2023, 06:42 AM)drp16 Wrote: Hi, I'm new here and have been reading through this and other forums for help.
