It looks like you completed the 23 Sophia courses in one month challenge. https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Taking-23-classes-at-Sophia-in-one-month-is-that-possible RE: Goal: BA or BS in CS or IT - elcastor21 - 09-01-2023 (08-31-2023, 11:44 PM)LevelUP Wrote:Whoa, this is so encouraging, thanks guys.(08-31-2023, 10:57 PM)MrPanda Wrote: Thanks for all the advice and encouragement Mr. LEVELUP. Keep in mind that most of the courses completed don't have any Touchstones. Touchstones will slow you down a LOT. Yes, Business Law and Ancient Greek Philosophers took around 3 days to get graded. RE: Goal: BA or BS in CS or IT - rachel83az - 09-01-2023 3 days is, by Sophia standards, blazingly fast. It's not uncommon for some courses to take 1-2 weeks per Touchstone. RE: Goal: BA or BS in CS or IT - bjcheung77 - 09-01-2023 That's the main reason I mentioned to have two courses, one with and the other without touchstones... If for some reason you have two that have touchstones, then on the final touchstone, you can ask their support on Sophia.org for another course to be opened, thus having 3 courses open to let you continue working on something while waiting. RE: Goal: BA or BS in CS or IT - MrPanda - 09-02-2023 Finally I completed my 10 US credits to avoid the TOEFL: ASU (1 credit): ONU (6 credits): York University (3 credits): RE: Goal: BA or BS in CS or IT - MrPanda - 09-06-2023 Tech (Mexico) sent a code (TECH2023) for courses up to 300 hours, and it discounted it from the official price of around 600 dollars (when you chat with them, they offer you a discount to a final price of around 400 dollars) to 100 dollars. So I registered to this course: https://www.techtitute.com/pe/ingenieria/diplomado/matematicas-aplicadas Module I is Matemáticas III Module II is Métodos Matemáticos e Investigación Operativa Maybe it could be valid for some UL Math in TESU. It says that the code is still going to be valid for the next 26 hours. RE: Goal: BA or BS in CS or IT - MrPanda - 09-10-2023 Today I passed Applied Statistics with Python and completed the MicroBachelor in Business Analytics Foundations: The final exam is the 100% of the grade, some of the questions were conceptual, some others could be done with a calculator, and others had to be solved in Codio (importing a CSV, descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression). Practice the Codio labs at least once before taking the final exam. The exam was only 16 questions and you have 3 hours to solve it, I finished it with 4 minutes to spare With this Microbachelor I´m getting COS-111 and STA-201. RE: Goal: BA or BS in CS or IT - rachel83az - 09-10-2023 Not going back to check right now, but have you signed up for any of the currently-free TECEPs? |
