Thanks Merlin. I will write to the mentor once I start the course.

Can anyone tell me if assignments can be resubmitted? Is it a one time, final grade type thing?

RE: TESU LIB-495 Liberal Arts Capstone Course - TexasTink - 03-08-2019

I don't see any way to resubmit it. Although it does say "attempt 1" so maybe there's a way to get a second shot at it with some kind of exception from the mentor?

That would depend on your mentor. I never resubmitted but there is a way to do so.

For those who need the latest BALS Capstone info, I uploaded it when I started this thread.

Under normal circumstances, I believe the answer is no resubmissions. Once you click submit it warns you that this is your final chance to make changes and once you confirm submission that no further changes are allowed. So unless your mentor has some reason to decline and unlock a submitted assignment, I don't think there is an option for that.

I received an 89 percent on my first submission, and I really don't consider that to be a good foot to start off on.  A little worried.

A B+ isn't too bad for the first shot out of the gate. Hopefully, you received useful feedback that can help you improve in your next assignment.

I don't consider that too bad and agree with Melin. I received many B+ grades and some A's along the way and unless your an expert writer B's are a very good thing to have. Keep in mind your capstone is each chapter of your final capstone and the online forum writing requirements. Then your overall capstone by its self will be graded.

Can someone share about the proctored major field test and the written Assessment? If my major is not listed it said I will take a written Assessment.

what will I do take and is it administered by proctorU In my house?
Or it’s a written assessment I need to submit?

Thanks

Those two "assessments" are ungraded. They send you the proctor info and its all online. You simply get assignment credit for completing them (15% of overall grade)
