BS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT - akr680 - 06-22-2020 Please review my pending courses in the attachment. How long would it take to complete? Are there any courses can I take before enrolling? Thanks for your time. Critical Thinking and Logic Ethics in Technology American Politics and the US Constitution Web Development Foundations IT Foundations IT Applications Web Development Applications User Interface Design Scripting and Programming - Applications Operating Systems for Programmers Software I* User Experience Design Software II - Advanced Java Concepts* Software Quality Assurance Mobile Application Development* Software Development Capstone I did the American Government for SL & Intro to OS from SDC. I think it will not transfer. RE: BS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT - rachel83az - 06-22-2020 I would think that the TEEX ethics course would count for "ethics in technology". SDC has American Politics and the US Constitution. https://study.com/college/school/western-governors-university.html RE: BS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT - akr680 - 06-22-2020 I did both TEEX Ethics and the Institute Ethics but it didn't transfer in. RE: BS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT - xicovu - 06-22-2020 You could test out on the Java Associate/Professiona certificates as that's pretty much what you are going to do. Code Academy and Udemy are good resources to learn that one. Web Dev - User Interface - User Experience can be done with CIW's certificates and they're not crazy hard. Code Academy is going to be a good resource here. RE: BS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT - bjcheung77 - 06-23-2020 I would tread carefully with WGU courses as some of those courses listed, there aren't an affordable alternative provider. So, the only way to do those courses is through WGU. I would prepare for the courses, and from looking at that list, it may take over 1 term, you want to make sure you can complete it at least within two terms for financial reasons. RE: BS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT - akr680 - 06-23-2020 I think I can complete it in 2 semesters. Well, there are resources to study for certification courses. You could spend a couple of months studying ahead of time.
