Any suggestions for Ethics - ChilliDawg - 02-07-2018 I need another Ethics class for TESU. I have already taken the Straighterline Ethics class, and have submitted it to TESU. It is hitting my Academic Evaluation as the Upper Level course PHI-384. I still need another Ethics class to fill the General Education Ethics requirement. I have taken the CPCU class and passed it. However, I am under the impression that it is a duplicate of the Straighterline. Anyone have any suggestions for a quick Ethics that isn't redundant with the PHI-384? Thanks. RE: Any suggestions for Ethics - jsd - 02-07-2018 I'm confused why you need two ethics class... if you're doing a ASNSM or BA in Computer Science at TESU like your signature implies, you should only need one right? RE: Any suggestions for Ethics - triforce828 - 02-07-2018 There's a study.com LL business ethics -- BUS 108. You could also take the DSST Ethics in America. I think it is LL too. RE: Any suggestions for Ethics - dfrecore - 02-07-2018 I'm with jsd, you only need 1 ethics course for any degree. Whatever you do, don't take another UL Business Ethics course anywhere, they will all be duplicates of the SL course. If you still need one for some strange reason, then here are your choices for less than $150: Saylor's Environmental Ethics, Justice & Worldviews DSST's Ethics in America >> PHI-287 UExcel's Bioethics >>PHI-475 TECEP - Environmental Ethics >>ETH-210 Study.com's Business 108: Business Ethics >>PHI-285 RE: Any suggestions for Ethics - DavidHume - 02-07-2018 Have you tried asking TESU to move the one you completed into the required spot? My eval had my ethics course in some other elective spot until I requested it be moved. They took my Ethics that I completed, and did not apply it towards the Ethics requirement. They applied to one of the UL Liberal Arts requirements. I guess I could ask them to move it to the Ethics slot, but then I will need to pick up a different UL. I thought maybe I could keep my existing Ethics as UL, and could simply pick up a different LL Ethics. As far as the ASNSM was concerrned, the Ethics class was listed properly on the Academic Eval, because there is no UL requirement to fulfill in hte ASNSM. So, there was no issue there. My ASNSM is done. RE: Any suggestions for Ethics - jsd - 02-08-2018 How about, for $25, Saylor's ENVS203: Environmental Ethics, Justice & World Views RE: Any suggestions for Ethics - ChilliDawg - 02-08-2018 (02-08-2018, 09:10 AM)jsd Wrote: How about, for $25, Saylor's ENVS203: Environmental Ethics, Justice & World Views Thank you for the suggestion. I wonder how it matriculates\transcribes at TESU? RE: Any suggestions for Ethics - davewill - 02-08-2018 Saylor's Environmental Ethics should come in the same as the TECEP, ETH210. However it's not an easy course. I used it before it was ACE approved to study for the TECEP and it was a tedious amount of material to go through. I should have used the CPUC course, but I didn't know about it at the time. RE: Any suggestions for Ethics - mudball - 02-08-2018 What is CPUC? |
