Help with COSC degree plan and various other questions.

First. I have this credential but I am not exactly sure how it translates
Human Resource Management, Professional - Credential Evaluation and Credit Recommendations - Charter Oak State College

Do I get all those credits or do I need to select one of them? I actually have the more advanced certification as a senior professional in human resources (if that makes a difference)

What is the difference between straighterline, sophia and aleks? I generally find the idea of proctor u to be creepy but if the difference is traveling to take a proctored exam vs. proctor u, I would prefer proctor u.

When taking these courses, can I just skip ahead to the final exam, like if I take a straighterline or sophia in microeconomics, I have a decent background in micro, can I just take the exam similar to a clep but not clep, or do I have to complete assignments along the way?

Can I take a classes that get me out of multiple requirements? For example under gened, I need an ethics class and under the business requirement I need a business ethics class. Can I just take business ethics to knock both out, or do I need to make up the credits in some other way?

I am trying to figure out the fastest way to complete this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to PM me.

The answer to this is yes. You can take Business Ethics, and it counts under the general education requirement and under the business requirement. Of course, you would only get credit for one course (as in only three credits and not six.) You can also fulfill multiple general education requirements with a single course if it applies.
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.

Note the valid dates on that certificate 1997-2002, when did you get the cert? If you have it and it was earned during those dates they are simply giving you that credit.

There are a couple of exams or classes that satisfy 3 separate requirements such as the DSST Human Cultural Geography
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I recently took Sophia Project Management, I'm going to assume that the Microeconomics course is similar. I had to take 3 "challenges" (quizzes) and then a "milestone" (test) for each Unit, and there were 4 units. Since I did not have a clue about the course, I actually watched all of the videos first. Luckily, if you DO know the material, you can just go ahead and take the quizzes and the tests. As long as you get an average of 70% on all of the challenges & milestones, you are good. The final thing you do is take the "ID Verification Milestone" through ProctorU, it was very simple to set up and do. I did it on an old computer that my husband had wiped clean. I'd feel very uncomfortable doing it on my regular computer. Call me paranoid.

ALEKS is structured differently. You are given an assessment at the beginning to see where you stand, if you get a 70% on the assessment, you are finished. If not, you continue working through the program until you can score a 70% on an assessment. There is no proctor, and no final exam. But, they only have math courses.

I haven't taken a course through SL, so I can't help you there.
