truck flags

A classless reproduction. After 9/11, I saw many flag replicas. I saw the point of view of people supporting their country, but I did agree that it was disrespectful toward the flag. Cheap, knocks-offs, being being trashed and not-taken care of.

The thing is, there are protocols for our national symbol. I follow them for my flag. I am not going to tell somehow how to live their life, but you won't find me treating our flag like a rag doll. The symbol is for all of the people under the 50 stars (individual states). I won't disrespect them.

Totally agree. If a person believes in their country, government and its symbols then it makes more sense that they know and follow the regulations in respecting those symbols (and be equally respectful of the flags of other people). Raise your flag, on your lawn, as prescribed ...don't assume that slinging a tattered flag, or wearing stars and stripes across your *whatever body part* implies reverence.

And of course, everyone does their own thing. that's okay but we must admit that some things do make more sense than some other things. Just because doing a thing fills you up with pride doesn't mean that it is the best of behavior.

Well, seems to me it became a thing.... right about when you left :/ I used to see NFL team flags before 2000, but after 9/11 I started noticing the government flags.
