I swear with TESU, this is the case more often than not.

Sanantone, can you link the page you did last time about this? I can't find it when searching TESU's website, and I'm sure I've read that before many times.

Here it is.

Thomas Edison State University: Apply for an Undergraduate Degree or Certificate

On some pages, TESU implies that you should send the transcripts if you want to transfer the credits. On this page, they make it seem like it's a requirement.

Let's compare what is said in the undergrad admissions page to the graduate admissions page: http://www.tesu.edu/admissions/grad-admissions.cfm

"Official transcripts of undergraduate and graduate-level educational work is required from all previously attended institutions

Regarding transcripts, please note:

Transcripts should be sent directly to Thomas Edison State University from the institution(s) an applicant has attended."

They make it clear on the graduate admissions page, on the undergrad page it is open to interpretation.

Maybe I should email them, that way I have something in writing. Maybe I was not even speaking to a true TESU admissions staff member? Excelsior College actually uses an answering service to try to answer basic questions. You won't get a true Excelsior College admissions person on the phone the first time around. Maybe this is the same case with TESU? Maybe I spoke to an overly confident and inaccurate person fielding calls in a call center on behalf of TESU?
