Upgray,
At TESC, they make it pretty difficult to accurately plan a degree path using the CLEPs and DSSTs. It's not that they discourage it, it's just difficult to bring together the appropriate information.
Anyway, to accomplish what you want, you have to download three different PDF documents from the TESC website at
Thomas Edison State College - College Catalog
Download the College Catalog, Program Planning Handbook, and the Registration Bulletin. In the Catalog, on page 102, there is a list of CLEP exams that can be taken at TESC. The key to this list is the course numbers assigned to each exam. For example, the English Composition exam is numbered ENC-101/102-CE. This is a direct match to the TESC course. Lists of courses can be found in the Registration Bulletin. The Program Planning Handbook has an outline to the requirements for your degree program. So to match CLEP and DSST exams to courses in your degree program, you have to follow three steps...
1. Look up a requirement in the Program Planning Bulletin.
2. Find the course and course number in the Registration Bulletin.
3. Match that course number (ignoring the last two letters of the course number) to an exam in either CLEP or DSST lists.
If a program requirement is not found in the CLEP or DSST lists, then you'll have to meet that requirement in some other fashion.
Of course, TESC may disallow some tests for unknown reasons, you'll have to take that chance if you want to test out of as much as possible before enrolling. Maybe a TESC graduate might be of further assistance. Also, you may want to pose this same question at degreeinfo.com forums.
Good luck,
