Intro to Education (and any other education class) is ALWAYS a free elective in the BA degrees at TESC.

Hey cook,
Sorry for the delay. Well here is their version so far on the eval.
The classes they didnt add was all the aleks that I have under my sig
**Those would be added to the math/science area first, then overflow into general education electives, then overflow into free electives. They will take all your ALEKs
and three psyc classes at uop.
What I dont understand is why they took one of my classes called Intro to Ed and placed it in free electives.
That's correct- education is always free elctive, however, your class is from the SS department (social science?) which you CAN argue. I can't tell from the title, but the word "exceptional" makes me think this was a psychology course- maybe development? If so, you could ask. They took an earlier SS course (human services) and placed it under social science, so you might have a chance. But, you might have the human service course reevaluated to fall into free electives. My human service and education courses were free electives, you might lose that credit once they do an offical eval- but you should know ASAP which is which. Either they both should be social science, or both free electives...but TESC does have a mind of its own lol
In your earlier posts, you said you were having an eval done for an associates degree- or did I get that mixed up...anyway, this eval is for a BA in Psychology - just double checking that that's what you want an eval for. Anyway, everything else looks exactly correct.

So it seems then that my electives in psychology is the one I am missing the most of. What tests, courses or what have you can I use to fill in these spots? Or do i have to take the electives they have listed on their site?
I have 9 credits it seems with 24 needed.
And for natural science am I allowed to use chem and bio in there ?
I wanted to take those two courses to have.
thanks

Other people here are better at suggesting ways to get upper level psych credit, but you can use TESC or transfer classes/exams. Your classes do not have to come from TESC. As to if they have to be on the list, TESC has some quirp on the bottom about how other electives may work- but I'd wait and confirm that first. TESC (once you are enrolled) is happy to pre-approve any class/exam before you take it.
Chem and biology (classes/tests)are natural science.
