Which tests specifcally? These exams are known to be textbook centric. Look in the exam breakdowns available on the TESC website and see if you can buy the book(s) that are recommended in the breakdown. You can probably get a good deal on half.com, abebooks.com or one of the other used textbook sites.
I will be taking the Intro to News Reporting TECEP next week, I can let you know how it goes if you want. I am pretty familiar with the topic so after reading the breakdown I feel pretty confident I can pass the test with a little googling. In general TECEP's are significantly harder than CLEPS or Dantes. However they are still very doable, just require more study and a more narrow, deeper, knowledge of the subject at hand.
