This was the last exam I took. I got a 53. I used only IC and googled terms I wanted more info on. Here are some concepts to consider when studying for this exam:

-know all of the avatars of vishnu
-two principal texts of confucian tradition
-"mana" means what?
-"sacred" means what?
-Gandhi was a leader of which century?
-central teaching of the upanishads
-text which Hindus view as canonical (vedas)
-know all of the significant cities associated with life of Buddha
-term "sangha" means what?
-bodhisativa is what?
-scholars debate whether Confucianism is what?
-the temple in Jerusalem was first built by whom?
-year that Israel was established
-The three ideas of Judaism
-Moses received the decalogue where?
-Judaism, Christianity and Islam all recognize a common ancestor, who is this?
-"torah" refers to what?
-the two gospels where the birth of Jesus are found
-what is the chief cause of the Lutheran reformation?
-country with the largest number of Muslims
-pillars of Islam
-best example of scared space in Islam, is what?
-most important act that occurs in the mosque
-translation of "shari' a"
-best translation of arabic word Islam, is what?
-the belief in one god while recognizing the existence of many others is...(Henotheism)
-second vatican council brought about what?
-cosmogonic myth is about what?
-a "trickster" in Native N. American mythology refers to what?
-know what written materials were considered important to Gandhi
-what is bhakti?
-what is the traditional purpose of yoga?

There were more questions on the Muslim faith than I expected; it's worth a thorough review....hope this helps. Good luck to all!
