Hey,
Does anyone know how the Rea practice exams compare with the real clep ? I am taking Biology next week and am getting about 65 right out of 110on Rea. Is this enough to go for the real thing ? Any tips would be great ...

REA is about on par, perhaps a little bit tougher; I believe you're about ready!

I hate to contradict Brian, but I often found the REA exams to be a little easier.
65 out of 110 is pretty close margin. I at least would be uncomfortable with it. Maybe give yourself a few more days of study. That exam is such a nuisance to study for that you don't want to have to do it twice!

[COLOR="Navy"]Yes, when I said about "on par" I meant about even on the over/under level but I found that perhaps at time just a wee bit harder. Nevertheless, more study prep is always a good thing as seen in some these infamous "Shoto-Quotes:

I know this is probably a little late, but I found the REA biology book to be much much easier than the real exam. In the REA book test, you only need deductive reasoning and a little bit of knowledge to get a fine score. The test questions are much more involved on the real exam.
Good Luck!'

Do you think the Petersons exams are more realistic ? I have to take my test tomorrow morning, and am really nervous. I want to pass so badly !! What did you study for the exam ?

Hey-- I can't recall how accurate Petersons tests for this exam were.

Once I took my test and passed I didn't want to think about it a minute longer. IMHO, petersons tests in general are more difficult then the actual test ends up being. I studied the '100,000' questions that IC has on biology. And anything I wasn't sure about, I looked up on youtube and various websites.
Have you taken the official clep practice test? Usually you want to get a little more than half--three fourths of them correct.
Keep me posted! And good luck on you test!

Is the official clep practice test the one from CollegeBoard ? If so I took it last night and got 32 out of 55 right.
