OK I'm super ignorant how things go...so bear with me.
I have a couple friends that I work with who have bachelors degrees but, in order to progress in our organization, they need a degree in something like psychology.
Can they transfer the credits from their original school to TESU or COSC and then do the psych course (and anything else missing) and get a psch degree ---without having to start over and take all those Gen Ed and Electives again?

Yes, if the credits are from RA schools.

There may be some additional credits that have to be taken in the Gen Ed Area, if TESU doesn't bring it in as a block transfer (meaning all Gen Eds are satisfied and you just need the 24cr in the Major/AOS).
I would also have them look into Patten and Capella FlexPath competency-based Psych degrees, as well as EC and COSC.
Please don't narrow the path to just one school at this point - the only time I would do that is if someone had very few (or zero) credits. There are just too many variables once you come in with more than 120cr.
I worked out a plan for a friend, and she only had to take 3 courses at EC to finish up her CJ degree, vs. 8-12 at TESU & COSC. I'm glad I looked at all of them, because the cost difference was tremendous.
