How much of the formula memorization should really be done? What formulas are essential from an experienced person who has passed the exam? Does the exam provide formulas or does it have to be retrieved from the testers memory? What was your experience on this exam?

finishing up and hoping to start a masters before the end of the year

TESC ~ BSAST technical studies in Building Design (12 Civil Engineering courses to go and "DSST" counseling to go)

TESC~ AAS Electrical Mechanical Systems and maintenance

Formulas do need to be memorized because they are not provided for reference on the exam. The study guides will help you compile the list you need. As you study, it will become more clear about which topics/formulas will need to be remembered.

I hope someone else who has passed this exam will be able to add some suggestions.
