passing the bar without going to school

It's been mentioned before, passing the bar without going to law school. Or college at all. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-peopl...SKCN1RM2T1

lol with her money she could just go to a crappy (or hell, high rated with her bucks) law school and have a much easier go.

Statistically, people are saying there is a 20-30% chance of passing this way. She's rich though and she has actually lawyers mentoring her.

Additionally, this method only works in like four or five states, such as California, Washington, ..., so I hear.

20-30%? There's only like 9 people who have ever successfully done it this way in California.

The slightly better way of non-ABA approved schools in CA still only have about a 12% bar pass rate of people who make it through to graduation, which is about 9% of people who start. 12% of 9% is... Garbage.

That being said, she's insanely connected and wealthy and has a family history of high profile lawyers. She's the type of person who can do this. But she's also the type of person who could pay her way though a traditional path without having to work for it and being seen as much or legit.

More power to her, but it's pretty hilarious.

She could have finished a year faster going the traditional route, but she probably chose to do an apprenticeship because it allows more flexibility for her job...whatever that is.

Maybe not since she apparently would have had to finish a bachelor's first. Of course we could have helped her with that if she'd asked...  Angel

I don't know how many years she finished before she dropped out. Are there law schools still accepting people with 90 credits?

Why would she want to take the time (not money obviously) to get a bachelor's degree and then 3 years of law school? This way is probably actually much better for her. She's not going to pass the bar, so why invest the time anyway?
