Course List | NetMath at the University of Illinois
As I'm currently doing an online course with EC which requires various graded items of coursework (essays!), I was sort of missing multiple-choice tests.
This attitude is partly due to the perfectionist effort which can come with essay writing and the almost-fear of the qualitative marking scheme. Graded papers, panic; I need As!
The next best thing is the kind of course where there's only one type of answer - the correct one. This means mathematics I haven't looked for post-calculus I courses for a while. Brigham Young University offer a course in linear algebra (sort of sideways rather than post-calculus I ) and two courses in logic. Finding these course offerings from the University of Illinois' Netmath outreach programme was quite interesting. They are very expensive compared to what I am used to but reasonable in the market. They may also offer an opportunity for any student, like NAP, who's looking at a math major.
Which other distance-learning, post-calculus I courses from regionally-accredited colleges are out there?
