passed Modern Middle East and 60 credits in 110 days
#1
I passed my final CLEP/DSST exam today with Modern Middle East and a 52. It was close and the test was tough. Study notes from CLEP101 were what got me a pass and the practice exams at freeclepprep.com. Thanks to them.

I got 60 credits since Jan 20th - 110 days!!! I took 13 exams and now have a 6 credit class that I am currently taking at TESC (War and American Society) as well as a TECEP for Nutrition and then finally will be World Conflicts since 1900 (Excelsior exam) and then I will finally have my BA in History!!!

I started this journey back in 1988 and left college with 48 credits. I read about CLEP exams and started taking them in January and here I am 60 credits later. I am thrilled and I also saved a ton of money in the process.

There were certainly exams that had me shaking in my boots (Modern Middle East more than any!!), but I kept at it and finished sooner than I expected.

I expect to be done with everything else by the end of July and will participate in TESC's graduation in December.

Good luck to everyone out there on your journeys. If anyone has any questions about the exams that I took, please send me a PM.

Thanks to all for their help, most particularly CLEP101

WOW!!! That is such great news. Modern Middle East is one of the most feared tests on the board, so the fact that you passed just shows your dedication and hard work.

Great job!!

Congrats! That's amazing.

Just curious, how much did the practice tests resemble the actual test?

I would say somwhat. I only used the practice tests and the notes from CLEP101 so those alone did enable me to pass. There were many questions that I didn't recognize any information at all and some had elements of the practice tests, but went further on. If you're looking to get a better grade than my 52, I would suggest taking those two sources and looking up some of the information to get more in depth information. I am just grateful to them for my pass. I really felt like I was at a casino when I hit submit since I was so sure I would see a grade below 47
