No, the CLEPs are for more basic classes, it wouldn't be possible to CLEP out of all the accounting classes you need for the Accounting area of study. I don't think it would be possible to test out of all of them, but there may be options I'm not aware of. I'm planning on taking the Auditing TESC class to finish my Accounting core. You just have to have some of the more advanced classes to finish the accounting degree. As for the level of difficulty, everyone is different. I think accounting is difficult, but it's not really because of the math involved. Accounting is a lot of convoluted rules and logic you need to remember and apply. Frankly, I think math is easier, or at least more straightforward. But that's just me. For you it might be completely different.

Suggestions to save yourself some grief:
1) Set a completion date as a GOAL, but be flexible enough to amend
2) Set a degree path as a GOAL, but be flexible enough to amend
3) Set a cost of completion GOAL, but be flexible enough to amend
4) If undecided between two majors, begin by taking exams/courses that might overlap first, or in your case take Acct I & Acct II (Financial and Managerial), before deciding if you want to pursue that degree.

Thanks so much Geezer. But how do those classes overlap with the others?
