I have one course left to show up on my transcript and its college algebra. I ust finished the straighterline course and got an 89%. thats all well and good but based on the numbers on my GPA this B that is going to show up will leave me with a 2.99. That is unacceptable, most of the jobs that I am looking for require a 3.0 to be considered so I need to raise my score up one one-hundredth of a point.
Are there other options that I can take all online that will satisfy a graded requirement for a course? anyone have any ideas?
thanks

From any acredited college? Lots of options. University of Idaho has an independent study program that costs about 100 bucks a credit, limit of 3 lessons a week. Or go with something like U North Dakota has a price of about 240 a credit and no limits on how fast you turn in work.

Why not simply redo the course through straighterline? You already know the course and hopefully have held onto copies of the exams; maybe even have a good idea of the errors. Just an idea.

Absolutely, positively the best idea. My son is doing the same thing, retaking a couple SL courses. The first retake consisted of mainly true/false questions instead of multiple choice. The second retake was exactly like the original. SL averages the two together, so score a 91% and you are good to go.

Wouldn't a 2.99 round off to a 3.0? I have never heard anyone refer to their GPA or anyone else's to two decimal places.

Clovis Community College
Your College Search Solution: Clovis Community College, Clovis, New Mexico has online classes from New Mexico (accredited) and it is $125 per 3 credit course. My daughter is currently taking 2 courses from there and she MUCH prefers their instructors compared to the local ones at our Florida community college (she is also taking 2 online courses here) . She says the Clovis ones really know their stuff.
Haven't tried them, but Arizona Western College
Arizona Western College is under $200 per 3 credit course, and they, also, are accredited.

Would having it transcribed through ACE bring the class in as a pass rather then graded as a B? If yes, would that bring your GPA be above 2.99
