What are the cheapest ways to obtain a BA/BS in Psychology?  I prefer a regionally accredited school, but open to all options.

@kiersten08, Welcome to the board, it's great that you're asking questions to get the ball rolling, but you're not providing any details for volunteers to help you further. Please take the time to review the addendum and template here, update the thread with your details, and extra info that can help us help you further. The more info, the better: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

It takes a little bit of your time to review some posts, threads, WIKI for more details and give yourself some idea of where and how to get to that goal. Did you do any previous research? Have you looked at the specific colleges subforum and their degree offerings? Did you do a preliminary Google Search? Are you going to be creating another post/thread for a Masters? Do you have colleges in mind or taken a look at anything yet?

At 16 years of age, you should work on your high school diploma and get the Associates completed at the same time (homeschoolers can get dual enrollment). When you've got the associates, you can push onward to a Bachelors from one of the institutions we suggest. So, here's a quick pathway... Pierpont AA through dual enrollment > TESU or UMPI BA Psych > Walden MS Psych + PHI CHI Society membership > Kairos Doctorate of Professional Counselling

The Walden MS in Psychology is a non-licensure, academic program. The Kairos DPC only admits master’s-level mental health licensees.

I'd still get the Walden if Psychology is one of your main goals... Then maybe look at the Kairos options here, Master of Arts in counseling or Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and see if they allow that to be laddered into their own DPC. I think the Counseling one should, not sure about the MFT though...

Pierpont AA through dual enrollment > TESU or UMPI BA Psych > Walden MS Psych + PHI CHI Society membership (add Kairos MA Counseling) > Kairos Doctorate of Professional Counselling
