looking for help with excelsior plan

I decided to pony up the $75 to excelsior to see where i stand, as i have a variety of credits from the military, and three different colleges i attended.
I got the report a year ago, not sure if anything may have changed on their end in that time.

my goal is just to get a degree. i don't really care what it is in. path of least resistance and all that

thought i would just cut and paste my unofficial eval, and see if i could get some help figuring out a road map for myself. If I am reading it correctly, i still need 85 credits. ouch.

i appreciate any feedback/comments/help

22.00 semester hours at the lower level PLUS
21.00 semester hours at the upper level

Distribution Requirements
6.00 in Humanities
4.00 in Natural Science/Math
or
3.00 in Humanities
3.00 in Social Science/History
4.00 in Natural Science/Math

Humanities Requirement
To complete this requirement, you need a minimum of 3 semester hours or 4 quarter hours in one of the following disciplines:art, music, literature, foreign languages, philosophy, religion, speech, ethics, or advanced writing.

Depth Requirements

A depth in the Arts & Sciences

AND

Applied Professional Credit or Additional Arts & Sciences
37.00 semester hours lower level in any academic area
5.00 semester hours upper level in any academic area

Hi!

I am assuming you are going for a BS in Liberal Studies and want to use exams for credit. Make sure that nothing we suggest duplicates your current credits.

Analyzing & Interpreting Literature CLEP would meet the Humanities and Gen Ed requirement.

The most inexpensive way I know of to get 30 UL credits for a BS is going to be (by enrolling after July 1, 2010):

All 4 DANTES exams in Arts & Sciences – 12 UL –
Civil War
Soviet Union
Money & Banking
Business Ethics & Society

3 out of 4 DANTES exams in Applied Professional – 9 UL –
Management Information Systems
Principles of Finance
Substance Abuse
Business Law II

1 ALEKS Stats – 3 UL

1 ECE in Arts & Sciences – 3 UL

1 Capstone course at EC – 3 UL

(Note: You will need to adjust the UL Applied Professional Section, since you already have some credit there. Also as of 7/1/2010, there is a new capstone course requirement.)

If you use ALEKS, consider getting the 3 free NFA credits.

Math, History, Psychology, and maybe Sociology work well for Arts & Science depths with using exams.
