You can do this stuff, but I don't see anyway to do it easily on mobile. You have to use the full version, and not use the "quick reply" option.
I am on my desktop computer, I have the full version including specific exam feedback folder- I have no color or font features at all??! I can choose "NEW REPLY" or "REPLY" it's the same.

I wonder if you have some sort of text-editor only option enabled in settings. I'll have to look to see if there's something like that when I'm not on mobile
