Thanks

I need this for my Masters program, but the test has a live speech that can take up to 8 weeks to grade:ack: I am going to do the BYU online class instead, it can be done and transcribed before the test is graded. If you do a search here there is a link somewhere.

I took the DSST about six months ago. I bought two very used textbooks from Amazon for about $10-15 total and reviewed them. I already knew how to give a quick speech but stressed over the "off the cuff" aspect with the 10 minute prep time to an unknown prompt. It wasn't bad.
The books did prep me for the multiple choice part. FYI Peterson's has practice tests. I didn't know that when I took the test.
Lindagerr is right: it took about 6-7 weeks for me to get my score.
