I did not have to do many of the things that other people have mentioned: I didn't have to call to set up my account, I received the emails and letter, I didn't need to do the orientation, etc. However, I still can't do some other things like access ROAR.
It's so weird how different all of the experiences are. I would expect there to be one method, maybe two (BOG vs. non-BOG).

The first contained my new Pierpont username & email address, and the second contained my temporary password (which was my student ID number). At that point, I was able to login to the portal after going through a process to setup a real password and other account security measures.
Several days ago, I received an acceptance letter in the mail, which noted some additional details they wanted me to resolve regarding my transcripts.
While I can access the portal and Outlook, I have never been able to get into ROAR or any of the degree planning tools. Clicking the links in the portal results in HTTP error pages. There are no relevant messages in my Outlook emails.
Figured out my issue thanks to IT. I was logging into the portal with my full email address instead of my username. When you do that, Office/Outlook will work but ROAR and DegreeWorks will give you HTTP Forbidden errors. Always login with your username. I didn't see this documented anywhere, and it's weird that some stuff still works with your email.
Now waiting for Pierpont to finish evaluating my transcripts and check off all of the BoG requirements.

@jch, when did you apply to Pierpont? You're most likely looking at a 2024 graduation (first semester if you get everything evaluated by end of December or early January). You'll also be subject to the new $130 fee... I don't think it was a BOG vs Non-BOG issue, I applied as a transfer student as I'm transferring all the credits over, didn't apply as a new student.

I applied and a few weeks later received a provisional acceptance via snail mail. I still have not received any emails with login information though. I guess I missed the requirement to send Sophia credits via Credly, but Nancy Parks emailed me and had me redo it so hopefully that will get me accepted. When does the email with login information show up? After full acceptance?

It's relatively strange how they set things up, for me, I got everything by email & physical snail mail... it was a double dip or whammy for me. Others, didn't get either, your best option is to email and/or call for support to their help line to get your login details and whatever else is missing...
