help with my husband's degree path

I am looking for some advice for my husband. He has an Associate's degree in Networking and I will list the courses below. He has seen me passing my CLEP and DSST exams on my way to a Bachelor's Degree and I wanted to see if someone could help us with his proposed path. He would like a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management at TESC, but I don't think he will have much opportunity to test out with that degree so he is willing to do any sort of Business degree that will allow for the maximum amount of testing. ANy help would be much appreciated. He has taken the following credits...

I think that he'll have quite a few credits that apply to a major. I just started working on my DH's degree plan, it's not perfect or done yet, but I put it here:

If no one else comes on that would know how to apply the credits he already has, I would go ahead and pay the 75 bucks to get an eval done at TESC. This will give you a much better idea of where he stands. He should be able to finish up pretty quickly with all of those credits... I just don't know the best degree to choose. Do a forum search and you may find a few other plans too.

You can always test out of the gen ed credits though... maybe just start taking some math, English, science, history, etc exams?

Like ma2 said. Pay the 75 bucks, send tx to tesc and immediately begin gen ed testing. You will need history, English comp, take micro and macro, marketing and management as they will work for gen eds or business.
Do aleks.com for college algebra and intro to statistics. Plenty of courses to test of at this point. Tesc will give credit for those classes I bet. It might be business elective credit though, you never know.

thanks for your advice. He has an academic evaluation at TESC in 2009 and unfortunately we don't have a copy of it and they won't resend it to us so I guess we'll reapply as suggested to get it done again. I will advise him to start testing with the suggestions you gave. Thanks again

If I were you, do kinda like what I did with my wife. Make your own template of his degree plan based on the degree requirements TESC has here: Thomas Edison State College | BSBA in Operations Management Credit Distribution

Have him test out of as much as he can before you apply. I think the TESC evaluations are good for 6 months. So the more he can knock out before applying, the less he'll have to work on to finish up. Only enroll when you or he know that you are close to finishing to avoid paying the hefty enrollment fees more than once. Just my two cents,

Good catch, with all those computer courses done it will be easier to complete this degree.

I would agree, but add that it depends on his personality and how motivated he is.

If you know that there is no way he is going to finish in one year, and he plans on taking his time on the tests, don't enroll yet. However, If he needs motivation, knowing that he'll have to pay again if he takes longer than one year is huge and you may want to consider enrolling now.

Had I not matriculated in COSC back in June, I probably wouldn't be graduating this Spring and likely would have taken another 6 months or maybe more.. The clock was ticking and I didn't want to have to pay another 1400 bucks to re-enroll, which is a huge motivator.
