It sounds as though you should give yourself extra time for this test...probably between two weeks and a month, depending on how quickly you learn. IC is excellent for this test. I posted more detailed information on what I used in the Specific Exam Feedback section, which you can view once you sign up for InstantCert (which I highly recommend).
The humanities test is very wide, so I suggest you immerse yourself by reading a few short stories, listening to some classical music (which I love

), and look up some paintings.
Whenever you come across something in the flashcards about which you've never heard, look it up on Wikipedia or in another encyclopedia. I found that researching it on my own helped the info to stick in my brain even better than with flashcards.
Practice tests may be had in any general exam CLEP prep book. REA, Peterson's, Kaplan, College Board, and others have published such volumes. You should take at least two practice tests to see how you're doing before taking the real exam.
