Hi everyone! I don't where to begin figuring out a degree plan. I would love to obtain a couple of bachelor's degrees from TESC in business, energy utility technology & environmental sciences. I have been a production operator for 10 years with a major chemical company and I have an associates degree in process technical from a community college. Here are the credits in parentheses that I already have. From Grambling State University: General Psych 200 (3), Elementary French 101 (3), Marching Band Musc.151 (1) 2 semesters worth, Art 210 Intro to Fine/performing arts(3), health ed instrumentation00 1st aid(1), Hum 106 lyceum credit (1), Hum 105 lyceum credit (1), Bss 101 freshman Seminar (2), cs107 Computer and society (3), Hist 103 Recent American History (3), eng102 freshman composition (3).
From LTC Sowela Community College: Cptr0170 Web page publishing (3), Engl.0235 Technical Report writing (3), math 110 college algebra (3), english01035 english composition (3), trigonometry math0120 (3), general chemistry chem0101 (3), computer literacy isys0110 (3), speech spch0101 (3), intro physics Phys0135B (3), physics lab (1), fluid mechanics Ptec0263 (3), plant safety Ptec 2030 (3), intro to process technology ptec0101 (3), process instrumentation ptec0132 (3), process Instrumentation2 ptec 0132(3), process equipment ptec0101 (3), stat quality control ptec0207 (3), process troubleshooting ptec0207 (3), unit operations & lab (3) (1), capstone project & lab (3) (1), intern/ independent study (3).
I am tired of shift work and I would like a straight day job to be home more. With my experience in the oil and gas industry and any of these degrees, I will be able to pick the job I want. This site has opened my eyes to so many possibilities. Sorry for the lengthy post.

You should definitely get an evaluation from TESC. I'm thinking that the BSAST in Technical Studies will be a good option for you. That program will accept a combination of credits in health, environmental science, engineering, aviation, lab animal science, nuclear, automotive, fire science, architect and design, electrical, and computer studies. It also only requires 12 UL credits. 6 of those are covered by the required current trends and applications (have to take at TESC) and project management (can take with Sophia Learning for $300).

To start with, may I just say how cool that you were in the Grambling marching band!
Per Sanantone's excellent suggestion, here's a degree plan for the BSAST in Technical Studies. You have a very fortunate set of credits, because you can use all of them *and* you can just fit in enough TECEPs to enroll in the Pay Per Credit tuition plan with 7 TECEPs and Current Trends. That lets you waive the enrollment fee. Good luck, OP!

KayV. Thank you so much for the detailed description of what to do with my courses. You have truly lit the fire in me and put the reality of my future in perspective. Yes, Grambling Band was an awesome experience. I have sent my requests of transcripts to be sent to TESC. My goal is to move to the Environmental department of the company I work for. Whoo hoo no more shift work in my future. Now I just have to figure if I would like to squeeze in environmental classes and get a bachelor's in environmental or BSAST and get my masters in environmental science. The master's classes at TESC in environmental science is what I will need for the job. I really would like to walk this year with my bachelor's. Cost isn't really an issue. Does anyone think I can walk in commencement?
