For the life of me I can't find the free text book site that has been mentioned here from time to time. I know there were several online books at the site, at least an accounting and maybe an econ and a math. I thougth they had hundreds, but google searching has been a waste of time because I'm not finding what I need. I also thought Khan mentioned them.....anyone know where I'm talking about?\
*****UPDATE*****
Ingnore this, I found it
http://www.ck12.org/flexbook/ (of course I looked for an hour before I posted but found it 2 minutes AFTER I posted

I'm really glad you posted because I hadn't seen this before... or if so, I don't remember.

Yes but Gutenberg doesnt do textbooks- they do older expired copyright classic type books. For instance if you wanted to find Little Women or something, it would be there. <3 Gutenberg, I use them ALL the time in homeschool for my kids. I think 99 percent of the books they read are directly from that site!

Jennifer, thanks for asking about these sites, and BrandeX for supplying them. I must have missed all prior postings on them. How very helpful.

Wow... how did I miss all these sites? I just checked out the Gutenberg project and I will be using that too.
Very exciting that we now have these free resources

Apparently site administration agrees as well since they left it up.
