Hi,
From the college board web it seems that FA is still a CLEP test available and worth 3 credits. However, otherwise has been posted over this forum. I'm a bit confused. Is the FA CLEP still a reputable test to take. (If so, I'm attempting the Financial Accounting CLEP this Friday or Thursday!)

Where did you see that it's not available through this forum? I haven't heard that.

Someone was freaking out over Straighterline's financial accounting's ACE approval expiring soon. :p It's been renewed and is good until 2018.

Yea I did a whole explanation on it in that other thread. All is fine with the SL ACE approval for Financial Accounting.

When things like this happen, I wonder if the moderators shouldn't change the title so that people just looking at titles don't see that and think it's true.

Back in 2007, Financial Accounting (3 cr) came out and replaced Principles of Accounting (6 cr) maybe that's what you found in the archives?
