CLEP/DSST Frustration
#11
rlyphikent Wrote:Is anybody other than me cant log into the members area? I think the system has crashed. Help anyone with this?

When I got up on Saturday morning it wouldn't even load any of the pages. Around 10am MST I got the home page but no login. By the time I checked back in the evening, everything seemed resolved.

I know how you feel. I had my DSST - Technical Writing exam today and I failed. I got 38 whereas I needed 46 to pass.

I took this exam way to easy for starters. Didn't go through as much material as I was suppose to. It was pretty difficult for me, was going through it since January.

I feel you dude. When I was testing out some electives for my undergrad (I went to a B&M school), I took the computer tests for both the CLEP and DSST and failed them. I thought I knew enough to pass and was pretty confident but alas, I ate my slice of humble pie. Do not be discouraged though. Just get back on the horse as they say. I went on and using the members only feedback and Petersons practice tests, managed to pass all I needed to graduate a year early. I agree with other posters though, the feedback here is seriously the best prep you can have. I actually bought a month of IC just for access to the boards. I only used the flashcards 2 times and felt them useless.

Bottom line, in the words of Rob Schneider, "You can do it! Kick their asses!"
