Incomplete BS to hopefully CJ BA
#1
So earlier this year I posted on the UMPI thread and was highly interested in them because of the price. Yet I saw recently Bright Horizon has a reduced tuition with TESU and there is no difficult internship or capstone like UMPI. I would love some help or insight on the best plan to get a BA in Criminal Justice. I decided to get my bachelors in CJ because it would not only be the best choice to get a job, but it'll also help me be familiar with concepts when getting my PhD in Forensic Psychology. I know I have a messy transcript with being a prior biology major. I was going to school in person at an expensive Wesleyan college and had to drop out due to personal and financial issues. I decided to finish online in something I truly want while working Full Time. At one point I was a media minor, so I have a ton of free electives. Also, my Wesleyan school was in South Carolina. I'm not sure if that helps but here is a more detailed list of my classes:

dfrecore provided you the path to a TESU BA CJ in your original thread, and she is likely the 'all time' best degree planner we've had here - https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid393137

Thank you! I wasn’t sure if that was still the best plan. Also can someone explain the acronyms they used like LL, SDC, or UL?

Actually, CJ at UMPI is going to be faster and easier than CJ at TESU. Even with the internship requirement. There are a lot of CJ classes that we don't have good transfers for, to send to TESU. Theoretically, at least some of them could be completed through YourPace at UMPI and then sent to TESU, but then why not just get a CJ degree from UMPI?
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Decide which one would be better for you, review your previous thread again, also note that you're using Bright Horizon (EdAssist) and your degree from either TESU or UMPI would be free. They have other institutions as well, if you plan accordingly or resourcefully, you can finish the degree within a year and also within budget.
