Great things Satisfy great minds

Hello forum. this is not the I'm done post, This is the thank you all post.

Your incredible energy, ability to study independently, absolute enthusiasm for education and thirs for knowledge that has helped awaken the kind excitement that my mother and father work so hard to instill in me about education.

When I walked into the doors of InstantCert in December 2008 I was a motivated young man looking for an opportunity to test out of the last two courses for my associates degree and hopefully get it by September 2009. That was along time ago. I would have loved to complete the requirements for my bachelors in 2012 or late 2011 based on course requirements. As of December 2008 I found excellent information about independant study courses here.

I have gone from a guy who only did mathematics in relation to work and kind of feared going back to formal studies to a guy who practices college algebra on his own time due to the excellent training from Yourteacher And the College Math cards.
Will Grad JUNE with associates instead of September and i am busting my but to see if I can put together a December Bachelors graduation

My Associates requirements are complete and I am currently enrolled in three courses at Edison. I am now happy to be talking to my parents about the possibility of a PHD program or Masters in immediate future.

This forum is an absolutely excellent place to find information to complete your degree but its also a filling station for people who have been looking for that high octane fuel to get them back on educational track.

Even though I have failed I succeed and so will each person who comes here and is willing to be Hardworking, Determined, and thorough. To all of you seeking intelligent people who work hard and change the world look no further then the mirror. Pay all the help you receive forward. Because when you do, its worth it.

This was my March of Spring
December: 54 hours Associates 67 Credit hours Bachelors

March 6th: 60 Associates Degree complete

110 Credit hours complete bachelors. 9 In Progress. 6 Planned
Bachelors on the Mend

Dec to Mar Sched
War and American Society: Edison
Abnormal Psychology: Edison
English Comp: CLEP
College Mathematics: CLEP
Management Info Systems: DSST
Biology: CLEP
Intro to Stats : ALEKS
College Algebra w Trig: ALEKS
Pre Calculus: ALEKS
Chemistry: I failed but that happens sometimes to good people
Technical Writing: DSST

I couldnt do that in December. I would have said no way. But how do you know what you can really do until you map it out and give it a try.
And of course a post isnt a post without an opportunity. Check out LSU independent study courses. You have 9 months to complete. You can enroll without the pre-requisites as long as you make sure you have the knowledge to do the course. Its been posted before but just in case you guys forgot. 250 dollars per course about 90 dollars a credit hour+ books.

Great things satisfy great minds

Good day to you all.
