applied to TESC, now what?

So I applied and sent my transcript to TESC, Im set up for the BSBA in CIS. They show that they have received my transcript from my local CC(sent 4/29, in the system on 5/6). I go to the transcript part and see where they evaluated the classes and no classes show up. Does it take a few more days?

It may take a few more weeks, particularly this time of year when a ton of people are applying and enrolling prior to the 7/1 degree plan changes. Hang in there. It'll be a bit longer.

From my experience it will take 10 days to 6 weeks for your evaluation to show up. I wish I could say it's faster than that, but it really isn't. You can contact the Office of the Registrar ([email protected]) to see if it can be expedited but if they are backlogged there isn't much that can be done. To give you an idea of what the wait is like right now; I sent in a transcript on 24 March 2013 and it just got added on Friday.

I received an email on 4/29 that they accepted me into the school and have received all my transcripts. I'm really hoping they provide me with the evaluation quickly since it seems like 3 weeks is the average time frame from the others that have posted on here.

Until then I feel like I'm wasting time since I don't know what classes I should start testing out of and what to start for my PLA.

How does TESC notify you when they have completed their assessment? Email or do I need to keep checking through Online Student Services?

Not to take away from AZDan, someone please respond to him, but I'm wondering if/how I can even access the system to see status on things such as the receipt of transcripts. I submitted my application and payment last week on May 9 and have heard nothing as of yet. I tried clicking that I was a new online student in order to access TESC Webadvisor Online Student Services but it doesn't recognize me as being in the system. Should I hear something soon?

Relax gang. TESC is abmismally slow. Nothing out of the oridinary to take 3 weeks before you get the application acceptance letter. From this you will have a student ID which you can you use to log into WebAdvisor. From here you will see the transcript recieved status and eventually the transfer review evaluation. You can expect this to take 6 weeks or more after Tesc gets the transcripts. I spent many emails trying to speed up the process, but it was just a waste of time. But with only 18 hours upper level credit (UL) required and some quirky CC credits getting UL credit it turned out for me to be the best investment of time I ever made. Do not jump the gun and enroll somewhere else simply because you got too impatient to wait for your TESC response. You may be pleasantly surprised. Just work on preparing for those credits you know you'll need no matter where you go.

DO contact TESC. I recently applied a second time, and I didn't get a (practically) immediate response. After a few days, I called them. They put in a work order, and all was soon well. After this admission, I was surprised to get e-mails from the school every time one of my transcripts came in. That didn't happen the last time. Good luck.

I applied on May 4th. Today, I got my acceptance email. Of course, the eval is still weeks (and weeks) away . . . (still doing CLEPs so it's all good)

Now use the info in your acceptance email to login to TESC's WebAdvisor found from the main website by clicking into Online Student Services Here you'll find the receive status of your transcripts. You can also see an unfilled evaluation of whatever degree program for which you applied. I'm pretty sure I remeber getting an email that my evaluation was available about 3-4 days after I'd already seen it posted in WebAdvisor which for me was at least 5 weeks after my acceptance letter

5 weeks?? Wow, I really hope I get mine sooner. I really feel like I am stuck and have to wait for their evaluation since I want to do PLA as well.
