I've gone through part of the DSST list of schools that accept their exams. Mostly tier 4 schools are listed. GWU is listed, but it looks like only the School of Medicine and Health Sciences accepts DSSTs. Howard University was listed, but I can only find on their website that CLEP and AP exams are accepted.

Here is one link to the CLEP policy. Please note that this is the school of continuing studies of NYU, NOT the regular NYU school that's rated #56.It's sort of like equating Harvard Extension to Harvard-it's not the same at all.
Also, the scores required are much higher than just a 50,and they do not count toward some general education requirements.
Also, for AP exams at University of Florida, credit is usually given for a score of 3.How many other top 100 colleges give credit for a 3 on an AP exam or a 50 on a CLEP? The bottom line is that if you squeeked by with low scores on CLEPs or APs,UF will give you credit. If anyone knows other top-ranked schools that accept low scores, please let us know.Another issue is how the credit is applied. For example,if CLEPs are only accepted as free electives, how useful is that, even if they accept 64 credits?

By the way, which top-ranked schools accept DSST exams?
This is all very good, I think you're winning

I found this site to be extremely helpful in my search for a school that will accept most/all of my credits.
Military Friendly Schools - Home Page
Along with military friendly information, it says whether CLEP/DSST are accepted and how many credits will transfer. Just find the school and click on the Academics tab
TESU BSBA in General Management
CCAF AAS in Computer Science Technology
Resources used: CLEP, DSST, Penn Foster, Sophia, StraighterLine, TEEX, NFA, ALEKS, The Institutes
