I love shopping for earrings...some girls are obsessed with shoes, hats...well I go in to every store that has earrings...the only problem is that my ear hurt when I wear fake earrings...someone mentioned a cream to me but it didn't help so for a while I only wore only real jewelry but when I went to France I saw such cute earrings so I bought it but it's fake and now my ears (especially the left ear) hurts when I wear it...I didn't wear it for 2 days now and it's still hurting... Does anyone know what I can put on so I can wear fake earrings?

I have never been able to tolerate fake jewelry either. Skin gets raw and red.
However, someone told me that for earrings, you should coat the parts that touch your ear with clear nail polish to create a barrier between your skin and the irritant. Ingenious if it works instead of creating an additional irritant.
Figure it's worth a try?

Does cheap jewelry other than earrings bother you? If so, you could be allergic to nickel. Me and my sister are both allergic, it gets pretty annoying. I have relatively severe allergy to it (the button on my jeans, belt buckles, watch buckles, etc. will all give me a big nasty itchy gross rash,) but you could have a mild allergy.
I don't have a solution other than investing in some expensive jewelry. Hopefully it isn't a nickel allergy!

Just goes to show your body chemistry. My sisters and I couldn't wear silver only gold. Not a lot of jewelry, but nice pieces.

I can't wear watches against my skin either. They go dead within a week every single time. Luckily for me cell phones have become small enough to fit in a pocket and serve the same purpose.
