Is regional accreditation still important for grad school?

Go to commencement, you earned it. You could have technically attended this graduation even though you are only a few credits shy.

If you're going to be a true Texan, you have to finish some graduate degrees at Texas schools. Look at my signature. I think I have you beat. Just saying... :p

Actually, at the time the application was due (February 28, 2014), I had just finished matriculating and was still a couple dozen credits short. I had a credential assessment that was pending and was not completed until March 28. I earned 39 credits from my credential assessment and also had 3 classes this spring so I wouldn't have been eligible. But, that's okay. I will walk for my Master's if I don't for my BS.

Hahahaha..... ok, so you did go to Angelo State and now you're going to Texas State.....ok, I was going to say something but I'm liking Texas State for their Ph.D program you are in.... I am considering Texas A&M Commerce for Grad school but I think the price may be a bit more then what I am comfortable spending for a masters. Although it is hard to beat the intrinsic value that a Texas A&M degree can bring, especially here in Texas.

I did start at UT Austin, also attended Concordia University at Austin, now known as Concordia University Texas. Back in the day, it was called Concordia Lutheran College, they changed the name a couple of years or so before I went there. I have plenty of credits from Texas schools......just need the parchment.

I have already taken the Principals of Management exam for my bachelors degree, so I'm good with that requirement. I will also have to take the business statistics DSST exam (will they accept the DSST exam as having met the requirement?) Not sure which way to go whether its study for the GRE, GMAT or LSAT. Taking the LSAT might be cool in case I decide to switch gears and apply for law school (doubtful - but one never knows) Any advise?

It will be a year or so from now before I am ready to apply, I wanna complete Air Command and Staff College first as well as save up tuition money, I have to pay out of pocket since I flat refuse to use any student loans. I'm trying to prove to my sisters and their kids that going to college at all levels of the education process does not require taking on large amounts of debt.

I am really excited by this degree plan, seems very doable for the exception of the Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methods course as part of the degree plan.....seems like a class I will likely struggle with. The price makes it extremely competitive with any other program I have seen, as most of the others are several thousand dollars more expensive.

Please keep me updated with how this program unfolds, I hope to be able to enroll fall of 2015, depending on finances (and the wife's blessing) of course....

I told myself that as well... And then when the time to walk for my Masters came, I said 'I'll just walk for my doctorate'. We'll see how that works out.

I think West Texas A&M might be cheaper. You might also want to look at Midwestern State University, but they don't offer an online MBA. They offer an MA in Training and Development, MPA, and MHA. If you have all of the prerequisites, I don't think the tuition for Texas A&M, Commerce will be all that bad. The program will only be 30 credit hours. It looks like residents can complete the MBA for less than $10k.

I did attend Central Texas College, and over a third of my credits for my BA came from the Alamo Community Colleges. I was in the process of enrolling at University of Houston - Victoria to finish my degree until I discovered the Big 3.
