COSC help please
#1
I am trying to figure out what additional courses I need to take for the BSBA - HR conc. from COSC.
Part of the confusion is that I had a credential evaluation which gave me 18 upper level credits that would count toward my major but I am still a bit confused on what I still need and I tried speaking with my advisor there but have not had much success.

Here is what I've completed so far

Cornerstone - IDS 101
College Comp - CLEP
Psych Intro - CLEP
Financial Accounting - SL
Managerial Accounting - SL
Biz Ethics - SL
Intro to Bio + Lab - SL
Business Law - SL
Microeconomics - SL
Macroeconomics - SL
Organizational Behavior - SL
Intro to Philo - SL
US History - SL
Cultural Anthropology - SL
Intro to Nutrition - SL
Precalc - ALEKS
Trig - ALEKS
Biz Stats - ALEKS
Employment Law - Credential Eval. (3 UL credits)
HR Management - Credential Eval. (3 UL credits)
Compensation/Benefits Performance - Credential Eval. (3 UL credits)
Principles of Management - Credential Eval. (3 UL credits)
Training and Development - Credential Eval. (3 UL credits)
Union and Labor Relations - Credential Eval. (3 UL credits)
FEMA - 5 credits

In process of Penn Foster Corporate Finance - which should be 3 UL credits. I looked up principles of finance but it didn't show that it was eligible for ACE credits but corporate finance was, so I hope that is the right one.
I am also going to take Saylor Principles of Marketing.

What else am I missing? The credential evaluation credits are confusing me. Like how is Employment Law different from business law?

Also, I can get a waiver for public speaking but Saylor has a Corporate Communication course that I can take if I need the additional credits.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about the HR concentration, but you'll need 30 UL units. It sounds like you have already completed your concentration UL's with the 18 that you mentioned. You may take other UL courses to complete your requirements. For example, I took the UEXCEL Social Psychology exam for UL credits. Take a look at http://www.charteroak.edu/exams/exams-master-list.pdf
and find UL courses accepted to complete. Remember, the Capstone is 3 UL credits as well.

Since you are already a student, it will be easier for us to help if you list the requirements that are not satisfied on your advising worksheet.
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.
