Ok, how do I say this......I'm a newbie, and I'm an adult student. I've spent 4 years finishing a 2 year associate degree, and I'm hung up on this western Civ credits issue. I didn't know how to study well in high school, and I'm floundering now. I'm REALLY hoping that there is something that will help me with getting the info I need for the test as opposed to studying years and years worth of info just for 5-10 questions on a stupid test. Can anyone suggest what or where to look. I'm new to the whole scene online and wouldn't know the first thing about what was good and what was useless.

Well you have come to the right place to find answers! I would take advantage of the free IC trial and see if it works for. I would then get the Collegeboard Clep book that has the practice tests and then head over to the exam feedback section and see what other people have used.
Good luck!
