Hello,
It has been a while since I have posted. Trying to help a student out and it feels like looking for a needle in a haystack. He needs to earn six credits during a winter session or through testing. The catch is that he needs a grade to show on his transcript as fall or winter, it can not be transcribed to the spring semester. Colby Community College offers a Late-Fall term but classes are full. Does anyone know of other CC options starting in the next few weeks? I used CLEP, Dantes, Aleks and Straighterline to complete my degree but did not receive grades on my TESC transcript. Is there a school that credit banks and issues grades for any of these? A transcript that does not show semesters like Phoenix would also work but he can't afford UP tuition. Any help would be much appreciated!
Since completing my degree at TESC, I enrolled in a MLS program for compliance with Drexel's Kline School of Law. I'm now in year two and could not have done any of it without the help and guidance I received from this forum. Truly life changing! Thank you!

A class at TESC just shows the starting month, like Feb 2016. The tuition isn't that cheap, but it could work.

I don't know anything about that college, but we have had success in the past contacting the professor of classes that were full, expressing the desire to take that specific course, etc etc. Usually the professor has agreed to allow an additional student and recommended contacting whichever dept to have the override completed.

UExcel gives grades for their exams.
UofArkansas Self Paced ($480/course), CSU-IS $495/course), UofIdaho-IS ($510/course), BYU IS ($534/course), and LSU-DL $619/course) all give grades, but I'm not certain how they show up on a transcript, you'd have to call and check.

Since fall terms close in December (all of our college's academic semesters are over in North Carolina) my suggestion is a CLEP exam asap. The date will show Dec, which you can argue is still fall.

Here is a college that offers Minimesters. They start(ed) now. Even though that college calls it spring, the courses end before the end of this calendar year. You'll have to dig to figure out which ones are online. $255/credit. http://www.bhc.edu/wp-content/uploads/do...web_03.pdf
