Will my certificate be accepted abroad?
#1
Hi!
I have completed advanced first training from an institution in Ontario. This is program details https://www.rescue7.net/training/advance...first-aid/. I have work experience of 15 months as a first aid tutor. Will my certificate be valid if I apply for a job to Sydney?

So you're a fellow Canadian wanting to head over to Australia..
That's awesome, a couple of my coworkers loved their 3 months down under...
How long are you going to be there? Your first time going?

Anyways, just did a very quick check and the majority of jobs are for Citizens or Permanent Residents.
That doesn't mean you can't get a job, just that looking for first aid related jobs, require senior certification.
Your best bet is a working holiday program if you are going for 6 months or less.

Do you have contacts down under? If not, start looking for possible jobs and their requirements.
Also look for any working holiday postings you may come across as well.
It seems the same rules apply, if you were looking at jobs in any country. Best of luck..

Thank you for you reply @bjcheung77. I am not coming for a vacation. My wife wants to settle down in Australia. So we will be moving out from Canada by December or January. In that case, I will need a senior graduation certificate right?
